Job description

Cyber Cloud Analyst

Work you'll do
As an Analyst, Cloud DevSecOps on the Cyber Enterprise Security team, you will be responsible for:
  • Support the delivery of DevSecOps and Secure SDLC programs by conducting research, analyzing client environments, documenting findings, and coordinating activities across governance, identity, application security, platform/infrastructure security, monitoring, resilience, and data protection.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of Secure by Design and security engagement intake workflows, including documenting current processes, rationalizing questionnaires, supporting workflow configuration, and tracking approvals and cycle-time improvements.
  • Help develop and maintain controls frameworks and control mappings aligned to enterprise policies, standards, and regulatory requirements; translate those controls into clear engineering requirements and implementation tasks.
  • Participate in DevSecOps current-state assessments and leading-practices workshops by preparing materials, gathering stakeholder input, analyzing gaps, and contributing to roadmaps, operating model options, and client recommendations.
  • Support the integration of security into CI/CD and SDLC workflows, including documenting security controls, coordinating evidence collection, tracking release governance activities, and assessing software supply chain, container, and runtime security practices.
  • Develop reports, metrics, dashboards, and presentation materials; maintain project documentation and action logs; support day-to-day client communications; and contribute to business development, eminence, and internal enablement activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to manage assigned deliverables, raise risks and dependencies, apply feedback, and continuously build knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud security, and Secure SDLC practices.

Our Enterprise Security offering embeds security in all aspects of digital transformation by securing a client's technical backbone while enabling secure digital transformation. Includes security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • 6+ months of experience in technical consulting, client problem solving, and delivery leadership.
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
  • Previous consulting or Big 4 experience.
  • 1+ years of experience designing or leading DevSecOps / Secure SDLC programs, including assessment, roadmap, operating model, and implementation oversight.
  • Experience translating policy and standards into engineering-ready controls and workflows; experience with security control frameworks, including National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and/or NIST Special Publication 800-53.
  • Experience with automation and workflow platforms, including ServiceNow or similar tools, and experience with application security and modern engineering ecosystems, including CI/CD concepts, containers, and SDLC tooling.
  • Experience with code signing, public key infrastructure (PKI) concepts, and security tooling ecosystems; experience with dashboarding and analytics tools, including Microsoft Power BI.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, including International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001/27017, Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2), Payment Card Industry (PCI), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and NIST Special Publication 800-53.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $68,000 to $133,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
