Job description

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Integration & Data Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)
Local Candidates Only
Contract through 12/31 with possibility of extension

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Integration & Data Engineer to support a major digital transformation initiative. The candidate will be responsible for decommissioning legacy SQL database staging layers and implementing direct integrations between source systems and Salesforce. This role requires expertise in Salesforce development, data architecture, API integrations, and large-scale data migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decommission legacy SQL database intermediate/staging layers.
  • Design and implement direct integrations between source systems and Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architectures.
  • Configure and maintain middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Celigo, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Migrate and transform existing SQL stored procedures, ETL processes, and database logic into Salesforce and middleware solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce integrations.
  • Design scalable solutions for large data volumes while ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement data reconciliation, exception handling, and monitoring processes.
  • Optimize API usage, governor limits, batching, and asynchronous processing.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of Salesforce Data Engineer experience.
  • Strong experience migrating data and integrations from SQL databases to Salesforce.
  • Experience decommissioning legacy SQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and middleware platforms.
  • Salesforce development experience using Apex, Triggers, and LWC.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.

Important: Candidates must be local to Phoenix, AZ and able to work onsite three days per week. Experience with SQL database migration to Salesforce and database decommissioning should be clearly highlighted on the resume.
