Job description

Role: QA Security with IAM
Location: Downtown Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ Months
Top 3 REQUIRED SKILLS:
  1. Identity Access Management (IAM) or Privileged Access Management (PAM) and/or Security testing
  2. Sr. level manual QA tester who can do environment review and write test strategies
  3. Agile / Scrum / Kanban

OVERVIEW of environment and skills needed:
• In their environment: Dell 1 Identity Manager, AWS/Cloud, Automation experience, OIM, bug fixes,
• Always doing application upgrades
• Looking to take the burden off of the team (from testing perspective)
• Want a QA who has solid QA principals and adheres to good quality
• Want someone who has familiarity with security (identity & access management)
• Will come in and access security / IAM testing needs and write test strategy
• Will be writing test cases and creating test scripts and performing hands on manual QA
• Handle some integration testing, regression and UAT
• A deliverable at the end will be a strong start to a test library of test scripts (likely using SharePoint)
• Highly self-directed
• More manual in nature - automation is not required
• Must be competent working within an Agile model and knowing Kanban is preferred but not required
• Prefers for folks to hold security / IAM testing skills already and if not know what it takes to execute it properly in an environment
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Cloud work would be helpful but not required

  • Candidate should be experienced in writing manual test plans, test cases, and performing test execution.
  • This individual should identify the appropriate level of automation to perform after reviewing through manual test plans for complex distributed systems.
  • The candidate should also be experienced in documenting test scripts.
  • Candidate should be comfortable working in a team environment with high customer focus. In addition, this individual should be familiar and comfortable with working in an Agile environment.
