About the Role
The Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products to customers across assigned routes. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and delivering a positive customer experience.


What You'll Do
Safely operate a refrigerated box truck to complete assigned delivery routes
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of floral products to customers
Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
Load and unload products while maintaining product quality and organization
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational readiness
Follow assigned routes and use GPS/navigation tools to optimize efficiency
Partner with warehouse team members to ensure order accuracy
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations


Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34F) and to lift, carry, and move products up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. The position also requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing in and out of a truck, and extended driving periods.

The expected hourly rate for this position is listed above. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Please note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

Additional offering:
Quarterly safety incentive bonus (up to $1,500 annually, based on eligibility)


Other Information
Onsite role based out of Jessup, MD distribution facility
Part-time, as-needed schedule with variable hours based on business needs; flexibility required
Start times: Monday-Tuesday at 2:30 AM; Wednesday-Friday at 3:00 AM, until route completion
Local travel required within MD, Northern VA, and PA delivery areas

What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
2+ years of professional driving experience operating box trucks (16 ft or larger preferred)
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required)
Acceptable driving record
Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to effectively use GPS and navigation tools for route management
Strong time management and organizational skills
Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
