In this strategic support role, you will work closely with TPEO's COO, CTO, and senior leadership to plan, coordinate, and deliver key operational initiatives across TPEO. You will also support select enterprise-wide GTS programs, helping ensure alignment, clarity, and effective execution.
This role partners closely with a Senior Associate, Technical Operations & Delivery to jointly own TPEO's most critical operational processes, execution rhythms, and operational data. While the technical partner focuses on building and automating solutions, this role focuses on planning, coordination, communications, documentation, event support, and administrative enablement, ensuring initiatives are well-organized, stakeholders are aligned, and outcomes are delivered effectively.
Success in this role requires strong organizational judgment, excellent communication skills, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to proactively engage stakeholders across multiple teams and organizations. The Senior Associate must develop a strong understanding of how operational gaps are identified, including leadership expectations and decision-making approaches, in order to anticipate needs, surface misalignment early, and drive effective coordination and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning, Coordination & Delivery
  • Partner with leadership and operational stakeholders to plan initiatives, clarify objectives, and define delivery approaches.
  • Translate leadership intent into clear plans, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.

Operational Coordination & Administrative Enablement
  • Act as a central coordination point across teams to keep operational work moving forward.
  • Own administrative execution that enables delivery, including scheduling, follow-ups, agenda preparation, action tracking, and consolidation of inputs.
  • Anticipate operational needs and proactively address gaps to reduce friction for leadership and partners.

Stakeholder Communication & Engagement
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders across TPEO, GTS, and partner organizations to gather updates, clarify requirements, and drive alignment.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for operational updates and coordination.
  • Build strong working relationships that enable efficient execution without reliance on escalation.
  • Support planning and coordination of leadership meetings, forums, and offsites as needed, including logistics, materials, stakeholder communications, and follow-up actions.

Briefing Materials & Executive Communications
  • Create and maintain briefing memos, executive summaries, presentation materials, and status updates.
  • Distill complex or multi-source inputs into clear, concise, leadership-ready communications.
  • Ensure leadership is well-prepared with the right context, materials, and insights ahead of meetings.

Ownership of Operational Data & Processes
  • Partner with the Technical Operations & Delivery Senior Associate to jointly own critical operational data and tracking processes (e.g. OKRs, monthly reporting, financial and vendor data).
  • Maintain and update operational trackers, templates, and documentation.
  • Ensure information is accurate, current, and consistently presented.

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning, communication, tracking, and delivery processes.
  • Introduce improvements that make execution easier and more efficient for leadership and teams.
  • Take ownership of operational improvements from idea through implementation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, project/program management, business coordination, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and drive work forward independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-ready materials.
  • High proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
  • State Street internship experience strongly preferred
