As a Senior Manager, you will serve as a critical leader responsible for client success, strategic delivery, and team development. This role demands a blend of technical expertise in Sage Intacct, proven consulting experience, and exceptional leadership ability to drive project excellence and contribute to the firm's growth. 
 
This role focuses on translating complex client business requirements into effective, implementable Sage Intacct solutions. 
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Account Leadership: Lead and manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring exemplary service standards are maintained and strategic objectives are met. 
  • Talent Development & Mentorship: Actively mentor and coach junior staff, leveraging individual team member strengths and passions to maximize performance and professional growth. 
  • Project Governance: Maintain accountability for overall project success, including monitoring action plans, providing quality assurance, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks. 
  • Execute Full Implementation Cycle: Manage team and projects to drive project completion, executing multiple concurrent client projects, ensuring successful implementation of the Sage Intacct. 
  • Drive Project Success: Utilize a prescriptive implementation methodology and templated project plans to consistently deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, maximizing customer satisfaction and solution adoption. 
  • Business Development: Utilize and expand professional relationships through networking and marketing efforts to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and promote the firm's services to existing clients. 
  • Sales Execution & Pre-Sales Technical Support: Possesses end-to-end sales cycle experience, specifically regarding Sage SKU/pricing models, engagement scoping, and Statement of Work (SOW) drafting.
  • Culture & Standards: Uphold and reinforce the firm's professional and technical standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the practice. 
Core Technical & Consulting Responsibilities 
Project Scoping and Solution Design 
  • Client Collaboration: Partner with clients and our internal team to fully understand evolving business needs and translate them into robust Sage Intacct solution requirements. 
  • Discovery & Analysis: Lead detailed discovery and scoping sessions to gather functional requirements for new module implementations, third-party integrations, and process optimization efforts. 
  • Scope Management: Accurately define project scope and estimate hours, identifying potential risks and necessary customizations early in the process to ensure smooth implementation and adjusted scope when needed. 
  • Contracting: Develop and present detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), including clear project timelines, deliverables, and financial estimates. 
  • System Integration: Guide clients through the Sage Intacct side of third-party integrations, advising on data flow, configuration needs, and best practices for ongoing use. 
  • Apply Product Expertise: Maintain expert-level knowledge of Sage Intacct, including advanced module functionality, and stay current with all new product features and enhancements. 
  • Vertical Industry Knowledge: Apply in-depth vertical knowledge of industry terminology, operational processes, and business intricacies to tailor solutions effectively. 
  • Additional Systems Experience or Knowledge of Market Place Partners with one or more of these systems: Bill.com, Expensify, Toast/MarginEdge, DataBlend for system integrations, Ramp, Mineraltree, Sage Intacct Payroll powered by ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, Martus Budgeting, Sage Intacct Fundraising powered by DonorPerfect, Salesforce, and Velixo.  

Advanced Subject Matter Expertise 

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading and performing implementation of advanced Sage Intacct modules, including: 
  • Dynamic Allocations 
  • Fixed Assets 
  • Prepaids 
  • Domestic or Global Consolidations 
  • Project and Billing 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field. 
  • 7-10 years of experience in developing and implementing business software technology solutions.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience. 
  • Strong understanding of all core Sage Intacct modules (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Order Entry, Cash Management). 
  • Advanced module implementation experience and knowledge, including Allocations, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting. 
  • Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant Certification and Sage Intacct Accountants Certification. 
  • Demonstrated accounting background or knowledge base and deep understanding of accounting workflows.
