Job description

Lead procurement that powers safe, reliable Energy Systems

From the first RFx you launch in the morning to the contract change you log in SAP before signing off, you’ll orchestrate the full procurement lifecycle—pre-PO through post-PO—for critical components. As our Nuclear Procurement Engineering Lead, you will drive large-scale procurement projects so materials arrive on time, on budget, and to stringent quality standards.

Location: Cranberry Township, PA (hybrid) | Travel: up to 20% | Reports to: Nuclear Island Delivery Manager

What you’ll own
  • Approve safety-related requisitions and ensure compliance with nuclear-quality requirements.
  • Build and execute procurement strategies in partnership with Offer and Project Teams—capturing demand, mapping the supplier landscape, and opening clear communication channels to vendors.
  • Partner closely with Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS) to define project charters, resources, and benefits; track progress, remove roadblocks, escalate issues, and manage change.
  • Lead the RFx process end-to-end and establish sourcing strategies for goods and services supporting Energy Systems.
  • Solicit quotations, analyze proposals, and negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms/conditions for complex, specialized materials, equipment, and components.
  • Evaluate total cost elements across commodity groups; craft strategies that expand supplier value and reduce cost.
  • Develop deep supplier intelligence (financial health, regional footprint, capacity, customer mix, and competitor set) and brief the Supply Chain organization on capacity, performance, and market constraints.
  • Manage supplier performance post-PO: lead change and contract management, analyze entitlement and cost basis, support negotiations, and formalize changes in SAP.
About you
  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Chemical).
  • 4+ years of procurement engineering experience with structural components.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Background in international sourcing for nuclear projects; familiarity with ASME NQA-1 or ASME III preferred.
Compensation

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
