Department: Facilities & Maintenance 
Referral Bonus: $500.00 USD

Summary

The Maintenance Helper supports the maintenance team in the upkeep, repair, and safe operation of equipment and facilities within a manufacturing or service environment. This role assists skilled trades personnel with routine maintenance tasks, equipment inspections, and general housekeeping to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

The Maintenance Helper is responsible for maintaining a high level of safety awareness, following established procedures, and contributing to a clean and organized work environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting while supporting Enerflex's commitment to quality and reliability.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work on Hand tools and basic machinery.
  • Help keep the shop clean and organized.
  • Help to support and learn from other roles within the maintenance department.
  • Help in the tool room (on an as needed basis).
  • Able to replace water filters and air filters throughout the facility.
  • Able to repair hose air hoses and electrical cords up to 110.
Qualifications
  •  High School Diploma or equivalent, preferably supplemented by 1 year technicial/vocational training.
  • Manufacturing/Production environment experience preferable.
  • Knowledge of basic Safety Procedures.
  • Knowledge of Hand Tools.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail.
  • 5S knowledge a plus.
