Job description

Position Summary: The Helper assists the driver in the delivery and installation of appliance(s), while assisting customer and other employees with the process. Helps to solve problems that relate to the job and the department. Carries out and assumes an active role in the company by performing the responsibilities and duties for the position under the direction of the Driver and local area management.

Essential Functions:
  • Assists in the preparation and installation of all appliances.
  • Assists Customers with delivery process.
  • Loads and unloads appliances from company truck.
  • Carries appliances into customer homes.
  • Assists in the maintenance of deliveries scheduled.
  • Assists in making mandatory calls to customers and dispatchers.
  • Works in warehouses as backup as needed.
  • Assists driver in “backing” situations.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
