Job description

Warehouse & Delivery Assistant
The Warehouse & Delivery Assistant will be expected to perform the routine duties of delivery of merchandise to the retail locations and warehouse operations.
Teammate Expectations:
  • Willingness and ability to operate a hi-lo.
  • Willingness and ability to complete physical / manual labor when needed and per direction given.
  • Ability to drive a 26-foot delivery truck and trailer.
  • Must be self-driven, team oriented, flexible, dependable and able to effectively deal with situations and problems as they arise.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver store shipments regularly
  • Perform maintenance tasks including logging work needed and projects completed
  • Record use of supplies
  • Account for assigned funds
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and company vehicles
  • Assist in the warehouse
  • Help maintain warehouse equipment
  • Help maintain warehouse facilities
  • Assist with store remodels, relocations and store closings as needed
  • Work with and get along with fellow teammates
  • Do whatever is deemed necessary for creating a friendly, caring, safe and happy environment/culture for teammates
  • Any additional request by the Retail Sale Supervisor or Manager

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver license & insurable under company provider
  • Ability to operate all types of equipment and tools needed to complete jobs
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Physically able and willing to do manual labor
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
