The Senior IT Project Manager (Enterprise Applications) is responsible for leading the delivery, optimization, and support of enterprise business applications and integration platforms that enable critical business processes across the organization. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and delivery partners to ensure successful implementation, enhancement, and operation of ERP, CRM, integration, EDI, and other enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, program leadership, stakeholder management, and process improvement experience to drive scalable and reliable enterprise solutions.

A Typical Day

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise application initiatives, including ERP, CRM, integration, supply chain, procurement, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Establish delivery governance, project standards, and release management processes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, architects, and external partners.

Enterprise Applications Management

  • Own application lifecycle management for critical enterprise systems.
  • Drive system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure application performance, availability, security, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain application roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Integration & Data Enablement

  • Oversee enterprise integration solutions including APIs, EDI, middleware, and cloud integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with architects to define scalable integration strategies and standards.
  • Ensure reliable data exchange between internal and external systems.
  • Support modernization initiatives leveraging SAP Integration Suite, APIs, cloud services, and automation technologies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Facilitate prioritization of application enhancements and project portfolios.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish KPIs and service metrics for enterprise application delivery and support.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead incident management and problem resolution for critical business applications.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and develop application delivery, business analysis, and support teams.

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have 8+ years of experience supporting and delivering enterprise applications.
  • You have 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects or application delivery teams.
  • You can speak about your experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise integration technologies, APIs, EDI, and middleware platforms.
  • You exhibit experience managing vendors, system integrators, and third-party technology partners.
  • You have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • You possess a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

The salary range for this role is $120,748.62 to $162,954.74 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
