Job Summary
The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of parts and equipment to various customers, including commercial accounts and satellite stores. Beyond driving, this role serves as a brand ambassador, providing high-quality customer service and assisting with warehouse inventory tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery & Logistics: Transport parts safely to repair shops and dealerships, following optimized routes to ensure punctuality.
  • Order Verification: Cross-check invoices against purchase orders and shipping papers to ensure all items were pulled correctly.
  • Inventory Support: Assist in loading and unloading vehicles, pulling parts from stock, and restocking shelves.
  • Payment Handling: Collect payments (cash, checks, or digital) and reconcile invoices upon delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues to management.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries professionally and manage the return of old parts or "cores" for credit.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for every delivery.
