Zencore

Full-time

Posted 12 days ago

Job description

Zencore was founded in 2021 by former Google Cloud leaders and engineers. We exist for one purpose: to reduce risk and ensure client success on Google Cloud. We are a Premier Google Cloud partner and a four-time Google Cloud Partner of the Year. Boutique model, global reach. Our teams are senior, our engagements move fast, and clients trust us with mission-critical cloud, data, and AI work.
The Role
The Director of Delivery Management will own delivery outcomes across a portfolio of Google Cloud engagements. You will personally run one or two strategic programs. You will hire, develop, and lead the engagement management team. Clients will know you as the delivery executive who calls them before something becomes a problem.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years leading complex technology programs, with 5+ years in professional services or systems integration.

  • Deep experience delivering cloud, data, and AI engagements. You have led migrations, data platform builds, and AI programs, and you can hold your own with architects and client CTOs.

  • Proven ownership of portfolio performance: margin, forecasting accuracy, utilization, and client health across concurrent engagements.

  • People management experience, including hiring and developing client-facing delivery leaders.

  • Pre-sales credibility: shaping solutions, presenting delivery approach, writing SOWs and change orders.

  • Executive presence with both client sponsors and engineers. You make the complex simple.

  • Experience leading remote, multi-geo teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Google Cloud experience: time at Google, a Google Cloud partner, or hands-on delivery of Google Cloud workloads.

  • Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent)

Responsibilities
  • Own delivery, governance, and successful execution across a portfolio of cloud, data, infrastructure, application development, and AI engagements.

  • Manage portfolio health and financial performance, including risk mitigation, budget, margin, forecasting, utilization, and change control.

  • Lead teams and strategic client engagements to deliver measurable business outcomes and ensure client success beyond the scope of the SOW.

  • Serve as executive delivery sponsor for key accounts. Build trusted relationships with client executives and act as the escalation point above the day-to-day team.

  • Work side by side with Google Cloud account teams and partner engineering to align on joint delivery and expansion.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing delivery management team through hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development while maintaining Zencore's delivery standards.

  • Oversee global staffing, resource planning, and engagement leadership across the US, EMEA, and LATAM to ensure successful client delivery and business outcomes.

  • Own and continuously improve Zencore's delivery model, including methodology, governance, estimation, tooling, quality standards, and AI-enabled best practices.

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop scalable delivery processes, playbooks, and operating models that support business growth.

Why work at Zencore?
  • We are professionals you can Trust. Our people have the extensive experience to get the job done

  • We share unbiased opinions and are comfortable with the hard truths. You are the subject matter experts for our customers.

  • We are the Missing Link. You will connect our customers to Google and move quickly when others can’t

  • We remove uncertainty and risk by clearly outlining the process of cloud migration for our customers

  • We accelerate timelines and do not dwell on a challenge. You’ll move faster and expose “unknown unknowns” for our customers

  • We show empathy. Our customers believe in us because we can relate to their complexities.

How to succeed at Zencore?
  • First rule at Zencore - Be Kind

  • Own the process - own your customer’s success by proactive practices

  • Work hard to reach the destination, but make sure to enjoy the journey

  • Champion a consistent collaborative culture
