Floor Coordinator (Team Lead)
Malibu Jack’s Indoor Family Entertainment Center

Job Summary

The Park Coordinator (Team Lead) is a dynamic leadership role that provides cross-functional support across department—Guest Services, Groups amp; Parties, Food amp; Beverage, and Training. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by stepping in whenever coverage or extra leadership is needed, including opening/closing responsibilities and floor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support

Step in as a coordinator for any department (Guest Services, Party amp; Events, Restaurant, or Training) when coverage is needed.

Supervise staff, manage breaks, and ensure proper staffing throughout shifts.

Open and close the park as scheduled.

Guest Experience amp; Floor Oversight

Act as a floor leader, responding to guest concerns, ride support calls, and escalated issues.

Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner across all areas.

Uphold Malibu Jack’s guest service standards to ensure a fun, safe, and welcoming experience.

Training amp; Coaching

Reinforce service, safety, and performance standards with new and current staff.

Support training with checklists, hands-on coaching, and feedback.

Groups amp; Parties

Assist with setup/tear-down for parties and events.

Ensure group events run smoothly and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Handle cash transactions and maintain an organized, welcoming space.

Administrative amp; Operational Duties

Complete shift reports, daily logs, and invoices as needed.

Assist with inventory counts and ordering.

Support special projects, events, and holiday operations.

Skills amp; Qualifications

Exceptional adaptability and willingness to rotate daily between departments.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Guest-first mindset with problem-solving ability.

Basic knowledge of food safety, customer service, and event practices (or eagerness to learn).

Calm, organized, and reliable under pressure.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous leadership or customer-facing experience preferred.

Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.

Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
