Agile Coach
Role Summary
The Agile Coach will guide and enable Agile delivery practices for a Workday Application Management Services (AMS) program. This role partners with AMS teams, Workday functional leads, and business stakeholders to improve service delivery, flow, predictability, and continuous improvement while supporting ongoing Workday support, enhancements, and regulatory updates.
Key Responsibilities
• Agile / SAFe, Delivery Coaching, Enable agile delivery for Workday AMS teams
• Coach AMS and Workday support teams on Agile principles, rituals, and best practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models).
• Embed Agile ways of working into AMS operations, including incident management, enhancements, and minor projects.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with Workday Product Owners and Functional Leads to improve backlog prioritization and refinement.
• Drive metrics and transparency using Agile KPIs (cycle time, throughput, predictability, defect trends).
• Identify process bottlenecks and coach teams on continuous improvement techniques (Kaizen, Lean practices).
• Support change management and adoption of Agile practices across Workday HCM, Financials, or other modules.
• Coach leaders and stakeholders on Agile mindset, roles, and expectations within an AMS model.
• Promote collaboration across onshore/offshore AMS teams and vendors.
• Ensure Agile practices align with governance, compliance, and service-level expectations.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with at least 3 years in an Agile Coach or Senior Scrum Master role.
• Hands-on experience supporting or delivering Workday AMS or Workday implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean), especially in support/AMS environments.
• Experience coaching distributed teams and integrating Agile with ITSM or AMS processes.
Relevant Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe Agilist) preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Co-ordinate with business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong experience in Relationship Management (with business and end clients) and Team building.
• Onsite-offshore co-ordination
• Strong reporting experience on projects and tasks status. Good presentation skills to management team.
Salary Range- $120,000-$150,000 a year
