Job description

Delivery Associate

Responsibilities
  • Processing outgoing patient orders through the sorter.
  • Processing outgoing patient orders at the manual manifest station.
  • Maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of outgoing patient orders.
  • Receiving incoming shipment from various carriers.
  • Organizing the daily outgoing orders to the appropriate carriers
  • Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required.
Skills & Abilities
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds,
  • Ability to use a pallet jack and scissor lift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Passion to help people and enrich their lives.
Physical/Mental Demands

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems. Heavy lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately. May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
