Job description

Our team is seeking a Catering Warehouse and Delivery Associate as we dive into one of our busiest times of the year! This is a full-time position that is designed for people with evening and weekend availability. The successful candidate will focus on owning the day-to-day tasks of the operations space and assisting the leadership with organization and event production.  The main focus of this role is to clean, protect and organize catering assets, take catering deliveries, check in/out proper supplies for events and while keeping a show ready environment to ensure events fall within the client vision and company standards.

This candidate is excellent at communication with vendors and staff, is driven to follow through on set standards and operating procedures and keeping to timelines while working in a high-volume company. The perfect Catering Warehouse and Delivery Associate ill have small-company energy with expert navigation skills for completing assigned tasks independently and with a team. Your strengths present themselves with calm confidence in your daily operation, ability to complete projects with or without direct supervision and find motivation in the why we deliver excellence at every level.

Responsibilities
The primary job of the Catering Warehouse and Delivery Associate includes but is not limited to:

  • Pulling and packing out events according to company standards
  • Strictly following timelines for equipment pack out and deliveries
  • Completing daily opening/closing checklists
  • Catering deliveries
  • Transporting of goods between brand locations
  • Maintaining company safety and sanitation standards of vehicles, warehouse and workspace
  • Assist management with other assigned duties as they arise
  • Assist in training new team members
  • Basic building upkeep and cleaning

Requirements

  • Current driver’s license
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
  • Proficient in basic cleaning and organizing skills
  • Evening and Weekend Availability
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, kneel, stoop, or reach items on high and low shelves, and stand for 8 hours at a time 
  • Insurable driving record

Preferred


  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the hospitality industry 
  • Stable Work History
  • Strong written and verbal communication
