E-SolHealth is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery Assistant for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: Labor and Delivery

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 48 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, rotating
  • Employment Type: Travel

Job Duties:
 

Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum (high, moderate, and low risk) patients, in collaboration with interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery.  Candidates must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to patient and family centered care. In addition to the primary position to this unit, employees are oriented and trained to various competencies/mode of care and delivery across the OB service. Floating among units in order to meet variable needs of volume and acuity is an ongoing expectation of all OB/GYN nurses. At least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery required , OR and triage experience highly desired.


Job Requirements:
- RN License ( NY ONLY)
- Two (2) years experience
Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Required
