Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a delivery position responsible for driving a 26ft Straight truck, delivering and unloading various products for our customers. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various evening start times are required in order to successfully meet customers' needs. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $28.50-31.50/hr (1 or more years experience in truck driving required) $8,000 Sign-on Bonus Annual performance bonus up to $10,000 Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, and Life Insurance Time off Package which includes: Vacation, Sick and Holidays SCHEDULES: Dispatching between: 3PM-5PM Route relay required (stay at a company paid Hotel overnight) Home every other day Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday RESPONSIBILITIES: Load and unload cargo safely using equipment like hand trucks, manual pallet hacks and liftgates when necessary, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated goods

Maintain accurate records of deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving long or short-haul routes to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery schedules and address any route changes or delays promptly.
