Delivery Specialist
Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager
General Purpose
Deliver, install, relocate, service, and retrieve merchandise in a timely and professional manner. Protect company property and money while in the field, maintain strong customer communication, and uphold company standards.
Essential Duties
Delivery, Service & Retrieval
• Install merchandise correctly and safely at customer homes.
• Complete all deliveries, service calls, relocations, and retrievals on schedule.
• Handle all merchandise with care during loading, transport, and installation.
• Make minor repairs when needed; transport items needing major repairs to the service department and return them promptly once repaired.
• Verify that item, model, and serial numbers match the rental agreement before delivery.
• Retrieve returned items and relocate merchandise when customers move.
• Inspect returned items and refurbish them to "like new" condition quickly.
Customer Service & Communication
• Answer incoming calls by the third ring in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow the Premier Rental Purchase Pledge to provide excellent customer service.
• Resolve customer issues politely and promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
Operational Support
• Help maintain the store's Standards of Operation.
• Safeguard all company money collected in the field.
• Assist with receiving new merchandise.
• Keep the back room and assigned vehicle clean and organized.
• When possible, help with customer order forms and verifications.
• Assist with store cleaning and help meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Support efforts to grow customers and revenue.
Requirements
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• DOT certification (if required by state law).
• Completion of training program and one year of customer-service experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Required Skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math quickly and accurately.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
• After training, solid knowledge of all products in inventory.
Efforts, Demands, and Conditions
• Work occurs in changing environments with frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Must handle multiple tasks, adapt to changes, and work under pressure.
• Extra hours before or after business hours may be required.
• Frequent travel between stores may be needed.
• Must manage the emotional and mental stress of working with customers and varying situations.
• Must use a hand truck to move merchandise.
• Work takes place in the store, in customer homes, and in the field, often involving:
  • Uneven, icy, dirt, or gravel surfaces
  • Stairs, tight doorways, wet or slippery floors
  • Heat, cold, dust, and various weather conditions

• Must be able to drive safely in all weather conditions.
• Attendance at company or Premier Corp. training sessions may be required.
Relationships
• Frequent interaction with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Occasional contact with suppliers and service partners.
• Must communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and peers.
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
