About the Position:

As the Deli Specialist, you will provide deli department excellence, ensuring product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards. This role embodies passion, excellence, hospitality, and teamwork, delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational integrity. You will support deli inventory accuracy, ensure rotation standards, and presentation, while supporting guest engagement and department readiness for promotions and seasonal events.
What You'll Do:
  • Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
  • Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
  • Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
  • Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
  • Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.

  • Follow all TFM policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
  • Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.

Availability:
This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications:
At a minimum, what you'll need:
  • 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
  • Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Physical and Work Conditions:
  • Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Required to spend long periods of time on their feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law).
  • Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.
