We are looking for a security professional with classic intelligence analysis experience, and expertise in geopolitical and security risk management to join us.
Experience and knowledge in Information Security, cloud infrastructure, and/or the digital-physical security nexus is a plus for this role, but not strictly required

However, demonstrated capability for self-guided learning with practical or on-the-job application is critical to success.

Our team leads internal efforts to understand, manage, and reduce risk to our cloud and supporting infrastructure from the earliest stages of development through global deployment

You'll work independently and with stakeholders and customers in high-ambiguity/high-judgment situations to solve problems on a global scale. You'll manage a portfolio of short- and long-term projects, bringing structure and identifying opportunities to provide decision advantage through deep analytic insights.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated consistently the ability to conduct rigorous research and analysis on a variety of geopolitical and security issues; produce foundational and boutique written risk intelligence products; provide security advice through option development and well-supported recommendations; and communicate effectively - in writing and verbally - on complex topics to mixed audiences (junior support personnel, deep technical SMEs, and senior executives).
This role is non-technical, but in order to be effective you'll need to pursue, acquire, and grow foundational cloud and related AWS technical and business knowledge. Though this is an in individual contributor role, you'll need to use program management and people leader skills to collaborate and drive alignment across multiple cross-functional teams

Key job responsibilities
*Maintain awareness of global affairs, assigned regional geopolitical and security factors, and implications for your portfolio
*Apply intelligence and risk industry standards and techniques (analytic tradecraft, various structured analytic techniques, ISO 31000, IEC 31010, etc.) to draw actionable analytic conclusions and develop effective risk mitigation plans
*Develop an in-depth understanding of potential impacts from geopolitical and security scenarios to AWS infrastructure and operations specifically, and hyperscale cloud and technology sector more broadly
*Plan, manage the production cycle, and deliver short- and long-form risk intelligence products, position papers, and other narrative documents
*Manage a portfolio that includes security risk and intelligence responsibilities for AWS global infrastructure investments, enterprise efforts, and specialty projects; develop and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners; identify and pursue opportunities to raise the security bar within your portfolio and the team's remit
*Communicate intelligence analysis, risk assessments, and security guidance to diverse audiences effectively through written narratives, group discussions, and one-to-one conversations.
*Be able to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
