What does degree required mean in a job posting?

'Degree required' in a job posting means that the employer expects candidates to have completed a certain level of formal education, typically at least a bachelor's degree or higher, before being considered for the position. The specific degree or field of study may be mentioned, depending on the job's requirements. This requirement helps employers ensure that applicants possess foundational knowledge and skills relevant to the role. In some cases, equivalent experience or alternative qualifications may be considered, but this is usually specified in the job description.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive in a degree-required role?
