Job description

The Division of Emergency Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital is seeking part-time pediatric-trained clinical staff physicians to join our team. These physicians work alongside pediatric emergency medicine-trained physicians and advanced practice providers to offer the highest level of care in both the Emergency Department and Urgent Care. Multiple positions are available as we staff our newly transformed state-of-the-art ED at our level 1 trauma center, expand deeper into the Kentucky market, and support our suburban ED and urgent cares throughout the region.
Our staff Physicians:
  • Practice the highest level of medicine at our 7 state-of-the-art facilities: Main and suburban ERs, and 5 urgent care sites in Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

About Emergency Medicine:
Our faculty and staff physicians are practicing the highest level of medicine at our 7 state-of-the-art facilities: Main and suburban ERs, and 5 urgent care sites. As the sole pediatric acute care facility in our area, we serve a diverse population of over 2 million people with over 170,000 encounters annually. Faculty and staff in the Department of Pediatrics receive a competitive salary with excellent benefits to foster wellness, maximize savings, and prepare for the unexpected. CCHMC funds a defined contribution retirement plan at 10% of compensation up to annual IRS limits.

As CCHMC continues to grow its regional, national, and international presence, clinicians may be asked to work at locations outside of the Burnet Campus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
• M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
• Unrestricted licensed physician in the State of Ohio
• Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
