Job description

Silicon Valley Driving School is hiring Driving Instructors to join our growing team immediately.

We are a DMV-licensed driving school serving students across Santa Clara and the South Bay. We work with teens, adults, new drivers, anxious drivers, and students preparing for their behind-the-wheel driving test. We are looking for calm, reliable, professional instructors who take road safety seriously and know how to make students feel comfortable behind the wheel.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching one-on-one, communicates well, and wants steady work with a professional driving school.

Responsibilities:

Provide behind-the-wheel driving lessons to teen and adult students

Teach safe driving habits, defensive driving, lane changes, parking, turns, freeway driving, and test preparation skills

Help students build confidence in real traffic conditions

Give clear, patient, professional feedback during each lesson

Maintain student lesson records and communicate updates as needed

Represent the school in a professional, courteous manner

Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and ready for lessons

Requirements:

Valid California driver’s license

Clean driving record

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Strong communication skills

Patient and calm teaching style

Comfortable working with teens and adults

Available for afternoons, evenings, or weekends

Must be able to pass background check / Live Scan requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Current California Driving Instructor License

Prior teaching, coaching, tutoring, driving, or customer service experience

Bilingual English/Hindi/Punjabi is a plus, but not required

Experience working with nervous or first-time drivers
