Adept at planning, coordinating, and executing programs that span maintenance, logistics, technology integration, training, data management, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Skilled in developing and directing both short and longrange program strategies, aligning resources, schedules, and technical milestones to meet evolving organizational and mission requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Managers are responsible for the overall planning, direction, and successful execution of major programs, system development efforts, and research or technology initiatives that are critical to an organization's mission. These programs are typically large, multiyear efforts composed of multiple subprograms and task areas.

They oversee the full definition, organization, and management of both short and longterm program plans. This includes:

  • Helping support in the planning, integration, and oversight of CRSS activities such as maintenance, logistics, technology integration, training, data management, and regulatory compliance to ensure streamlined processes and reduced total cost of ownership throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Helping support in the coordination of resources, schedules, and technical milestones across multiple subprograms and task areas, ensuring alignment with quality assurance performance standards, government surveillance requirements, and mission objectives for ships, submarines, shore sites, and training facilities.
  • Supporting the implementation of risk management, quality control, and continuous improvement practices to support government monitoring efforts, ensure contract compliance, and proactively identify and resolve performance issues that may impact mission readiness.
  • Formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach.
  • Determining resource needs; and negotiating with organizational and agency personnel to secure those resources.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience managing large, multiyear programs involving technical, operational, or lifecyclesupport activities.
  • Experience supporting the planning and coordination of product support activities across areas such as maintenance, logistics, training, data management, and technology integration.
  • Ability to assist in developing short and longrange program plans, including gathering requirements, supporting technical planning efforts, and helping align resources to meet program needs.
  • Skilled in tracking schedules, coordinating resources, and monitoring technical milestones across assigned tasks to help maintain program progress and performance.
  • Familiarity with basic risk management and quality practices, with the ability to identify potential issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal staff, technical teams, and stakeholders to support program objectives.
  • Experience assisting with budget tracking, cost monitoring, and deliverable management throughout the program lifecycle.
  • A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's level degree or higher in any technical or managerial discipline.
