Who are we looking for?
Successful applicants must demonstrate:
  • A passion for and experience in electronic systems and/or embedded electronic sub-systems for defense, Space and/or Aerospace applications
  • An technical degree and a background of industry roles in product management, solutions architecture, business development or similar
  • Experience in progressive roles that may include transitioning from technical expertise/engineering to exposure to BD, strategy, customer/client engagement and/or M&A
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex quantitative and qualitative analysis;
  • Curiosity, energy, positivity and the ability to work in teams and in a dynamic environment; hunger to work on projects of utmost consequential strategic value for clients at the top levels of industry

Primary day-to-day responsibilities - Defense Electronics Associate
  • Join a leading strategy consulting team to support business development and drive execution of client engagements, provide subject matter input, lead analysts, and report to senior consultants
  • Our client base includes large defense primes and multi-industry conglomerates, to emerging technology firms and high-growth start-ups
  • Distill industry trends, expert opinions, domain expertise and detailed defense budgetary analysis into concise and compelling insights to help advise clients on core strategic issues
  • Deliver/communicate reports and findings to client management and/or executive leadership.

Preferred qualifications
  • S. citizenship or permanent residency
  • 4 to 6+ years of work experience in the A&D sector (whether in industry or consulting roles)
  • Strong academic background with bachelor's or higher engineering degree, preferably in electrical engineering or a similar discipline; MBA or MS preferred
  • Strong acumen in business writing and communication with clients and team members
  • Comfort with data analysis and strong presentation skills
