Position : SQA Test Engineer
Location : Beaverton, OR
Duration : 6 month
Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for end to end SQA test management. This work will include; monitoring test timelines, providing approach guidance to other team members when and where needed on developing test documentation and test execution phases. The ideal candidate will understand the test team needs from technical perspective and help facilitate required discussions/probable solutions with appropriate parties to resolve solution delivery issues.  This role will work with business, development managers, Project managers and technology leads to identify the test strategy and define the acceptable range for test results and performance. In addition, they will participate in required meetings to understand the project status, pending deliverables, and key dates to achieve.  It is important that this person be able to identify and communicate risks and suggest mitigation to avoid missing testing timelines, and delivery slippage. Be able to make empowered decisions dynamically by analyzing the situation. This role will conduct defect triages as needed, and be responsible for keeping the project team and SQA manager up to date with the SQA testing status at regular intervals
Key Accountabilities:
Prepare detailed test plans and test cases, and consult with business analysts on testing options and strategies, including applicable regulatory requirements.
 Collaborate with dev teams, Business Analysts during testing activities as needed,
 Monitor testing activities and ensure they are completed as expected. Help execute where needed
 Review functions requirements documentation.
 Conduct defect triages as needed to prioritize and address on ambiguous defect.
 Keep the test team updated with happenings across different work streams.
 Understand Test Automation concepts and be able to guide the team as needed.
 Keep project teams updated with test status at regular intervals.

Required Qualifications
experience managing Quality Assurance activities end to end and good understanding SDLC processes.
  experience web-based technologies including HTML, .NET, ASP.NET, XML
  experience SQL or related backend technology experience.
  experience performing analysis, problem solving and follow up skills
  experience of working with the software development life cycle (SDLC), which is a structured method used to design, and test
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
One (1) plus years of experience in financial lending industry
Five (5) years of related experience.
