Overview:
About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with strong automation testing expertise to join our team in the Washington, DC/Rockville area for a 6-month engagement. You'll be leading quality assurance initiatives while hands-on developing and managing automated testing solutions using TestComplete.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead quality assurance strategy and implementation across development teams
  • Design and develop automated test scripts using TestComplete framework
  • Manage and mentor automation testing team members
  • Establish testing standards, processes, and best practices
  • Coordinate test planning, execution, and defect management activities
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools

What We're Looking For:
  • 6+ years of experience in automated QA with TestComplete expertise
  • Proven experience in quality management and team leadership
  • Strong hands-on automation testing skills and framework development
  • Experience with test planning, strategy development, and process improvement
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work both strategically and tactically

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
