Job Summary:
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. They are seeking a UAT Manager to provide leadership and oversight for User Acceptance Testing across financial functional areas for an ERP implementation. The role involves ensuring UAT execution aligns with business requirements and regulatory expectations, while managing stakeholder coordination and risk management.
Responsibilities:
• Provide executive oversight for all UAT cycles, including Mock 1, Mock 2, and Dress Rehearsal.
• Develop and manage the UAT Strategy, Plan, and Master Schedule, ensuring alignment with implementation milestones.
• Define and enforce UAT entry and exit criteria, including Steering Committee exit controls and go-live readiness validation.
• Lead UAT governance, including stakeholder coordination, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Oversee full financial reconciliation and balancing validation.
• Oversee defect management lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
• Govern test management tools (e.g., Jira), ensuring proper workflows, traceability, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain UAT dashboards and KPIs, including coverage, pass/fail rates, and defect trends.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance with public sector financial and regulatory standards.
• Provide go-live readiness recommendation based on UAT outcomes, residual risks, and defect status.
• Act as primary liaison between stakeholders, including County leadership, implementation vendors, and SMEs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 15 years of experience in UAT/Test Management, with at least 8 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading UAT for large-scale ERP implementations (Financial Systems).
• Hands-on experience with CGI Advantage ERP (Highly preferred/Mandatory).
• Experience with multiple ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday Financials).
• Strong understanding of government accounting standards (modified accrual, fund accounting).
• Strong understanding of public sector financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, Treasury, Grants, Fixed Assets).
• Demonstrated experience supporting federal/state/local government clients or similar regulated environments.
• Expertise in data conversion testing, reconciliation, and financial balancing.
• Strong knowledge of test management tools (Jira or equivalent) and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills.
