Centrally located with no call-back duties gives you the ability to live almost anywhere in the Valley!
Valley Anesthesia is the exclusive anesthesia group for the Honor Health Network. Valley Anesthesia has long been recognized for its commitment to the highest standards of care, serving patients throughout Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, and other communities in Arizona since 1983.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Seven, 12-Hour Daytime 7a-7-p Trauma Shifts Followed By 14 Days Off
  • Guaranteed Annual Salary of $350K + Unit Based Productivity Compensation with an attractive and FIXED $$/unit value

  • This is a unique and exciting role as you will be the Anesthesiologist Service Covering the Trauma Department
    • Duties include: Sedation in the ED, blocks for trauma patients, intubations and line placement in ED on trauma patients, anesthesia for cases going directly from Trauma to OR
    • On average, you will bring 1-2 patients from Trauma to the OR a week.
    • On average, you will respond to 3 ED trauma calls per shift.
    • Daytime shifts mean you will always have anesthesiologist partners on site.

Facility Information
Deer Valley Medical Center is a 204-bed, full-service hospital offering extensive inpatient and outpatient general surgery and cardiac surgery and care. Orthopedic surgery and care include a Secure Track to get patients moving safely after orthopedic surgery. A Breast Health and Research Center on the campus offers the latest technology, including 3D mammograms and an MRI on site.
Other services include Level I trauma care, critical care and a 24-7 emergency department and pediatric emergency center. A variety of interventional radiology services include uterine fibroid treatment. Deer Valley Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center. General surgery residents are trained here.
