Job description

Your role
As a Process Improvement Engineer in our Operations team, you will lead initiatives to enhnace operational efficiency, fleet availability, and customer satisfaction while driving down operational costs. This role involves managing improvement projects from conception to execution, leveraging digital tools, data insights, and continuous improvement methodologies to create measurable value for the organization.
Working closely with business users and technical experts at local, regional, and global levels, you will act as a domain expert in Rental and Service processes, identifying and implementing innovative solutions. You will also gather customer feedback to ensure improvements align with serice quality and satisfaction goals while fostering a culture of coaching and collaboration across teams.
You will report to the Operations Manager.
You will
  • Lead and execute process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timely delivery, and measurable results
  • Develp, document, and maintain processes, policies, and procedures within the company management system
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Rental and Service operations, providing guidance, analysis, and actionable recommendations
  • Support warehouse optimization efforts, including 5S implementation, layout design, inventory labeling, cleanup, and Min/Max analysis
  • Collaborate with fleet, technical support, and cross-functional teams to initiate projects and drive operational improvements aligned with customer satisfaction and cost efficiency goals
  • Train end users on new processes and tools to ensure effective adoption and sustained performance.
  • Utilize digital tools and data insights to monitor KPI's identify trends and gaps, and implement continuous improvements
  • Travel to field locations to gather operational insights and apply learnings to enhance ongoing projects

To succeed, you will need

  • You have 5+ years of progressive experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or engineering roles within a technical, industrial, or rental/service environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • Strong experience working with operational systems; advanced SharePoint development experience required
  • Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce preferred
  • AutoCAD experience preferred for layout and flow design
  • Certification or formal training in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred), Agile, SCRUM, PMP, or equivalent
  • Proven track record of leading complex improvement initiatives with measureable costs, efficiency, and customer satisfaction outcomes
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including data modeling, KPI design, root-cause analysis, and visualization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools, process mapping software, and BI/reporting platforms
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence at senior leadership levels
  • Fluent in English

Job location
Option 1: On-Site
This role requires you to work on-site at our office for the first 90 days in Deer Park, TX, United States (US). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration. After that, the position will work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office. You should be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
