Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of tech industry experience.
  • 12 years of experience in product management.
  • 5 years of experience in an executive leadership role focused on AI/Foundation models, cloud services, or technical enterprise software platforms.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of LLMs, enterprise APIs, machine learning frameworks, and the lifecycle of fine-tuning models for vertical industry applications (Vertical AI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to product decisions and model evaluation.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a mastery of translating complex technical breakthroughs into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership, Cloud partners, and enterprise clients.
  • Proven track record of building and managing large product organizations within a highly matrixed, dispersed engineering ecosystem or large-scale cloud environment.

As the Senior Director of Product Management for Model Services, you will provide overall product leadership for delivering DeepMind's (GDM) model capabilities to internal customers. Additionally, you will serve as the principal Gemini Enterprise PM within GDM, responsible for transforming our foundational breakthroughs into scalable, vertically optimized capacities. Your mission is to deliver model services and vertical capacity that improve our underlying models and drive transformative, great products industry-by-industry.
