Job description

Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

Entarian is seeking a Senior Software Architect in Panama City to support the Navy JEXC2 project. This position will provide software engineering and architecture over-site for the JEXC2 software. This encompasses evaluating, assessing, and monitoring new and existing products against applicable cybersecurity standards, including APLs, Common Criteria, and DON directives.

The Candidate shall ensure all architectural changes to the supported systems are compliant and demonstrably improve the overall security posture of the JEXC2 Family of Systems (FoS) platforms. The candidate shall provide technical support for the DoD cloud initiatives, including cloud hosting and the digital transformation of systems from locally hosted environments to secure cloud environments. This includes, but is not limited to AWS, and Azure cloud services on both Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET). The candidate shall provide developmental and technical support for the JEXC2 FoS; providing inputs into designs, solutions and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related
  • 9 years of experience in the following areas:
    • Software development and integration for military C4I systems including experience designing and fielding cloud based solutions in AWS and Azure
    • Developing, migrating, and deploying DOD applications to cloud platforms using DevSecOps methodologies
    • Experience shall include the use of continuous development and integration, delivery and deployment pipelines
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearance
Desired Qualifications
  • AWS or Azure Cloud certification(s)
  • Experience designing cloud based ITSM solutions for DOD architectures
  • Experience with tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks including Cloud-Formation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform
  • Experience developing service catalogs through the use of workflows developed and hosted in tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Zendesk
