JOB Posting

JOB TITLE: Busser and or Barback

DEPARTMENT: Deep Six or Patio or Dining Room

REPORTS TO: General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Bussers/Barback is responsible for cleaning, resetting tables and help running food, ensuring the availably of ice, bringing guest needs to the attention of the waitstaff, and emptying trash receptacles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Clean tables and remove dishes after party leaves
  2. Help run food if necessary
  3. Empty trash receptacles
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. High school diploma or general education degree preferred
  2. Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
  3. Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
  4. Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
  2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  3. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
  4. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
