Job description

Responsibilities

SandyPines Residential Treatment Center is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17.  The facility is located in beautiful sub-tropical South Florida and is nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson State Park which creates a rustic, roomy outdoor atmosphere. SandyPines is at the county line of both Palm Beach and Martin Counties and is just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

We are pleased to announce the per diem Lifeguard position at Sandy Pines. 


Qualifications

Lifeguard Job Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Current Lifeguard Certification - Must cover pools over 5 ft deep.
  • 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain constant surveillance of residents in the water
  • Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
  • Able to act quickly and appropriately to secure the safety of the residents in the event of an emergency
  • Able to follow routine verbal and written instructions
