Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Survey Technician or Senior Survey Technician with a strong focus on CAD drafting for survey projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in surveying along with hands-on experience in preparing accurate and high-quality survey drawings.

Key Responsibilities

CAD Drafting & Technical Work:

  • Prepare detailed survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Draft surveys from field data, point files, and maps

  • Perform point data rotation, setup, and quality checks

  • Ensure drawings meet established survey standards and project requirements

Survey Knowledge:

  • Apply understanding of surveying principles to support drafting work

  • Assist with deed plotting, boundary analysis, and map interpretation

  • Support boundary closures and basic deed research where applicable

Project Coordination:

  • Manage multiple drafting assignments and meet deadlines

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency

  • Maintain organized files and adhere to CAD standards

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in survey drafting or related role

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Strong understanding of survey data, maps, and drafting techniques
