Long of Chattanooga AutoMall is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will manage payroll processes ensuring accuracy and compliance, while supporting the broader HR and finance functions.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage multiple monthly payroll cycles for all employees accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports as needed, including deductions, benefits and tax information.
  • Assist with audits related to payroll and employee compensation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about payroll and benefits.
  • On-boarding new employees - submitting background checks.
  • Benefit administration.
  • Oversee time collection and recording for all staff.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Specialist, or similar role.
