Job Title: Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer -- T&E Support
Location: DC/Navy Yard
Required Clearance: Secret
Salary: Negotiable
Overview:
Support the PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate by coordinating Modeling & Simulation (M&S) activities across radar, electronic warfare, EO/IR, and decoy systems. The role bridges technical teams and program leadership, ensuring digital engineering, test bed integration, and M&S governance align with Test & Evaluation (T&E) objectives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate M&S efforts across PEO IWS 2.0 programs and external partners (NRL, APL/JHU, NSWC).
  • Maintain the M&S strategy, roadmap, and asset catalog.
  • Support digital engineering and system-level digital test beds (detect-to-engage).
  • Facilitate Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) of M&S tools.
  • Track action items from M&S Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Support planning, execution, and reporting of digital test events and analyses.
  • Provide monthly status updates to T&E leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • Secret clearance (or eligibility).
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
  • 3+ years supporting DoD Modeling & Simulation, systems engineering, or programmatic efforts.
  • Strong organization, communication, and MS Office skills.
  • Ability to travel locally and work near Washington Navy Yard.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DoD M&S experience.
  • Hands-on experience with M&S tools or digital test environments.
  • Familiarity with Navy radar, electronic warfare, or combat systems.
