Please find the job details below:

Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Salesforce
Location:  Washington, DC
Requirement:
Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Salesforce to lead high-priority IT application rationalization and modernization initiatives for our enterprise client in Washington, DC. In this role, you will take ownership of a critical portfolio of Safety and APD (Asset & Product Protection) applications—including systems like SPARTN, Watch List, and DAG—driving multi-year roadmaps and technical consolidation starting in FY27. You will serve as the strategic bridge between IT leadership, platform architects, and operational business units to ensure seamless Salesforce integrations, legacy system sunsetting, and optimized digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio & Project Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Salesforce application rationalization, consolidation, and modernization projects within the Safety and APD technology portfolio.
  • Multi-Year Roadmap Planning: Partner with DT S&S leadership to define project scopes, governance structures, budget allocations, and delivery milestones targeted for FY27 implementation and beyond.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, cross-functional business teams, and technical delivery partners to align system requirements with strategic organizational goals.
  • Legacy Decommissioning & Change Management: Oversee the technical transition, data migration strategies, and change management plans required to sunset legacy tools (e.g., SPARTN, Watch List, DAG) into unified Salesforce solutions.
  • Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify project bottlenecks, manage dependencies across enterprise IT suites, and maintain rigorous quality and compliance standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Salesforce Expertise: 7+ years of IT Project Management experience with demonstrated hands-on exposure to Salesforce platform architecture, migrations, and application consolidations.
  • Rationalization Experience: Proven track record of managing enterprise-level application rationalization, system decommissioning, or tech stack optimization initiatives.
  • Domain Knowledge: Background working alongside Safety, Security, Asset Protection, or Risk Management technology business units preferred.
  • Methodology & Certifications: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management frameworks; PMP and/or Salesforce Certified Administrator/Salesforce PM credentials strongly preferred.
  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional executive presentation, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills in complex corporate or public-sector environments.
