About the Role

As a Deckhand, you'll be an essential part of our mission to provide safe and reliable maritime services. You'll work alongside a dedicated team that values professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Perform necessary deck and engine maintenance checks.
  • Serve as the first line of defense against the spread of bacteria or potential illnesses. Shall clean every surface that is a common area utilized by crew(s).
  • Properly make and break barge tows, raft tows, etc.
  • Assist Mate and/or Captain as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid US Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Document (MMD) or Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC).
  • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • AB limited with a valid STCW endorsement is preferred.
  • Must possess valid travel identification.
  • Must be a current member of the Union or able to join the Union upon hire.
