Job description:

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Deckhand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and a passion for the maritime environment.

Location

We are in need to deckhands working out of Marina Bay in Quincy, Town Landing in Winthrop, and our main location at commonwealth pier in seaport.

Duties

  • Assist in the daily operations of the vessel, including maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure safety of all passengers
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and enhancing their overall experience.
  • Assist in securing vessels as necessary.
  • Participate in safety drills and adhere to all safety protocols on board.
  • Will work for extended periods of time without sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems is a plus, indicating a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks associated with deckhand responsibilities is essential.
