WORK SHIFT DAY (United States of America) This role offers a unique opportunity to directly influence pricing strategy in a global organization undergoing pricing transformation, including ongoing modern CPQ implementation and data-driven pricing capabilities. Summary of Duties The Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in driving disciplined pricing execution and analytics across Merit Medical's global business. This role directly impacts revenue and margin performance by supporting deal pricing, improving pricing processes, and delivering actionable insights that guide commercial decisions. You will partner closely with Sales, Finance, and IT to support the pricing function, analyze pricing performance, and maintain pricing tools and governance structures. The role is focused on translating data into clear recommendations, improving pricing consistency, and enabling the organization to make faster, more informed pricing decisions. Key Accountabilities Pricing Strategy & Execution Support development and deployment of value-based pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions. Translate pricing strategy into actionable price setting, guidance, and policies. Analyze price-volume tradeoffs and recommend actions to optimize margin and revenue. Apply & manage pricing strategies within CPQ. Commercial & Deal Support Lead and support pricing inputs for RFPs, large contracts, and strategic deals in partnership with Sales and Strategic Accounts. Ensure pricing reflects customer value, market dynamics, and competitive positioning. Provide structured recommendations and defend pricing decisions with data and financial impact. Analytics & Insights Conduct advanced financial, product, and market analysis to identify pricing opportunities. Develop dashboards and executive-level reporting to monitor pricing performance, compliance, and profitability. Evaluate actual vs. expected outcomes to refine pricing strategy. Pricing Operations & Governance Support end-to-end pricing processes including governance, approvals, and compliance tracking. Contribute to the development and maintenance of pricing models, tools, and data frameworks. Partner with IT and MIS on pricing systems (e.g., CPQ platforms) and data integrations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and IT to gather inputs and align on pricing decisions. Communicate complex pricing concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Influence adoption of pricing discipline across the organization. Change Management Support the transition to a value-based pricing culture through tools, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Identify process improvement opportunities and drive standardization across pricing activities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related analytical role. Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect pricing decisions to P&L impact. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Power Query, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, modeling). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., DOMO, Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical problem‐solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with pricing or CPQ platforms. Experience supporting RFPs, contract pricing, or large-scale deal analysis. Familiarity with value-based pricing or commercial excellence frameworks. Programming or analytics experience (e.g., Python, R, or SQL). Process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen or continuous improvement methodologies). Work Environment & Physical Requirements Standard office environment with typical physical requirements including sitting, standing, computer use, and occasional lifting consistent with company guidelines. Compensation $65,000 – $85,000 base salary + performance bonus + benefits. Multiple Shifts and Hours to choose from: Days, Swing (Eve), and Nights.
