ABOUT THE POSITION

Position Overview: Visions Federal Credit Union is looking for Temporary Member Service Representatives to join our branch team in Binghamton, NY.  In this frontline role, you’ll help create a positive member experience by assisting with everyday transactions, providing friendly and professional service, and supporting members with accuracy, care, and attention to detail. This is a temporary position expected to run through the end of December/January, with the exact end date based on business needs. Although continued employment beyond the temporary assignment is not guaranteed, temporary employees may apply for other posted opportunities within the organization should positions be available and qualifications be met.

Position Type: Temporary, full-time, 40 hours per week. Regular shifts include Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with rotating Saturday shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is a temporary position expected to run through the end of December/January, with the exact end date based on business needs. Although continued employment beyond the temporary assignment is not guaranteed, temporary employees may apply for other posted opportunities within the organization should positions be available and qualifications be met.

Compensation: $17.30 per hour

Location: On-site at our Binghamton East Branch located at 495 Court St., Binghamton, NY. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver friendly, professional service while assisting members with routine transactions and account-related needs.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and following established procedures.
  • Create a welcoming, member-centered experience that reflects Visions’ commitment to service.
  • Communicate clearly, answer questions, and help connect members with appropriate resources or support.
  • Maintain attention to detail while balancing service, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced branch environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Previous teller, cash handling, customer service, or member service experience is a plus.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and service skills.
  • Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Commitment to following credit union policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
