JOB SUMMARY

The Nurse Extern will Assist licensed Nursing staff in providing care to patients of all ages under the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of defined best practices of Nursing. The Extern may work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The Nurse Extern will perform clinical rotation shifts within several different, extern specified areas of nursing. The Extern will learn in depth knowledge of the various areas of Nursing and will be given the opportunity to work hands on with Patients as well as working side by side with Nurses and Physicians.
