Job description

A Snap Shot of your Day:
The Maintenance Manager, reporting to the Plant Manager, is responsible for managing the day-to-day maintenance team activities at the power plant. Additionally, he is responsible for outage scope planning and execution and for managing all engineering issues on the plant site
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Contributes to budget preparation and ensures the maintenance department completes all required site maintenance in accordance with regulations and best management practices.
  • Plans plant outages and coordinates with the Operations Manager and Plant Manager in determining outage durations and costs.
  • Directs plant maintenance personnel to assure generating requirements
and plant efficiency are maintained.
  • Responsible for the hiring of contractors and direction of their on-site activities.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate calibration and testing of all site instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • The Maintenance Manager is the primary interface with Siemens Energy Long Term Programs management team.
  • And other activities as directed by the Plant Manager including filling in for the Plant Manager in his/her absence.
  • Responsible for completing all maintenance required by federal and state.
What You Bring
  • An unwavering commitment to safety of all plant staff and regulatory compliance.
  • The Maintenance Manager must have a BS degree or equivalent in a related field or minimum of 10+ years of experience operating and maintaining combined cycle power plants.
  • Previous experience with Siemens and Siemens Energy power island equipment is highly recommended
  • Applicant must have the previous experience supervising a maintenance team.

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
