This is a 100% remote seasonal salaried position with a minimum of 75% seasonal travel.
The Seasonal Turbine Field Services Engineer provides field engineering oversight on all types of turbines work for a minimum of 1560 hours per year. This position offers 4 months of optional work time to help with the employee's work-life balance.

Bring turbines to life. We're seeking a Turbine Field Service Engineer to deliver expert field support across commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and emissions tuning for Siemens Energy systems driving performance where it matters most.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead and support field technicians on site, helping ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards
  • Take an active role in outage activities by participating in pre- and post-outage meetings, risk assessments, and team debriefs
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve tools, processes, and overall team efficiency
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers behind the scenes to help plan upcoming work and refine field procedures during slower periods
  • Play a key role in successful outage execution, working alongside the Site Project Manager-and sometimes directly with customers to get the job done right
What You Bring
  • HS diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Combustion, or related is nice-to-have, but not required.
  • 3-5+ years' indirectly managing internal and external resources to support outage demands. More years of experience can be considered at a higher level.
  • Field or shop experience is preferred, with strong familiarity with Turbine Services capabilities and product offerings highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills and efficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet navigation
  • 75% travel (on average) required
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
