Overall Requirements:
The Debug Engineer is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues across systems, products, and/or processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to root cause analysis to identify and resolve failures at the component and system level. The ideal candidate thrives in a repair-focused environment, collaborates effectively with technicians and quality teams, and is committed to improving turnaround times, repair success rates, and overall product reliability.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed debugging, fault isolation, and repair of telecommunications circuit boards and related equipment
  • Execute component-level troubleshooting, including identifying defective parts and recommending repairs or replacements
  • Document failure modes, root causes, and repair actions for tracking and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with technicians, test teams, and quality to resolve recurring issues and improve repair processes
  • Develop and refine troubleshooting procedures, test methods, and repair standards
  • Identify trends in failures and recommend corrective or preventative actions
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues as needed and provide clear technical updates
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and turnaround time targets

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or
  • 3+ years' of relevant experience

Additional Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in relevant tools or languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, SQL, lab instrumentation, test tools)
  • Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
