We're a close-knit, cross-disciplinary team with deep expertise spanning hardware, software, infrastructure, and operations - and we're looking for someone who thrives at that intersection.
You'll join a small, tightly integrated team where your contributions have real reach: the tools we build are used by hundreds of engineers across Apple's cross-functional silicon debug community. Description
-Design, build, and enhance silicon debug tools spanning automated feature extraction, data collation, visualization, and analysis
-Drive rapid, targeted debug and triage workflows for engineers across the silicon pipeline
-Contribute to both frontend, backend, and design specific development within a professional engineering environment
-Explore and implement shift-left strategies to surface issues earlier in the silicon development cycle
-Actively leverage AI - both for productivity and in tool capabilities - to accelerate debug and triage intelligence
-Identify new development opportunities and bring your own ideas into the roadmap
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SoC architecture and micro-architecture
Proven ability to drive silicon tool development from concept to delivery
Strong full-stack development instincts: comfortable across frontend, backend, and data layers
Hands-on experience with C, Python, and SystemVerilog
Experience applying AI/ML in real engineering workflows
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating across hardware and software boundaries
Collaborative by nature
Experience with DFX (Design for Test/Debug/Manufacturability)
Experience with databases and data pipeline design, including ETL/ELT concepts
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
