Summary:

Supports members and internal teams by handling debit card services, including applications, fraud claims, overdrawn accounts, and transaction inquiries. Maintains accurate records, ensures proper processing, and provides general support to ensure member satisfaction.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School education or GED required
  • Minimum one-year general work experience required
  • One year banking experience and familiarity with Debit Card related laws/regulations/reporting requirements, banking policies, procedures, practices, protocols, systems and programs preferred
  • Oral/written communication, mathematical, problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, computer and internet skills, and telephone etiquette required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Processes debit card applications, reissues, and limit increases
  • Investigates fraud alerts, account issues, and transaction disputes
  • Handles overdrawn accounts and coordinate with collections
  • Responds to member and internal inquiries by phone, email, or system
  • Updates account information and handle authorization hold releases
  • Maintains accurate records and document handling
  • Uses internal systems (e.g., Salesforce) for case processing
  • Supports other departments and assists with debit card troubleshooting
  • Promotes additional credit union products/services
  • Performs other duties as needed upon request from the immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $23.00 - 27.00 per hr. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
